Hand-Breath As age hobbles in walking all over me, creativity alights upon lengthening shadows as if fluorescent oil pastels, bold acrylics can turn the page on hands wrinkling like a closing flower sensing night. New Times Roman key strokes saving poetic license within fretful fingers-- forsaking swirling script - grateful, the muse still graces my gradient gray matter. Sins of the Mother Forgetting grace, regrets rise out of the coffin already buried. Dance on full moon dreams. Thoughts gasp like bleached bones in a breathless desert, 'If only I hadn't...'. Widow's Walk Ice sketchings frame my window. Moon glow weaves violet veined shadows upon white caps rising, falling, breaking on pallid wind-whipped snow. The street light steals into my bed insolently trumpeting your absence. In the dusky depths of my room. With dark arms stretching, lonliness holds me close to its cold breast - whispers of death.
